Meet Daniel Ardelean, DDS
Get to know your caring Macomb County dentist.
Dr. Ardelean (“Dr. Dan”, as he’s known to our patients) was born in Romania and immigrated to the United States in 1991. He’s always been drawn to the medical field, and his mother, Dr. Florica Ardelean, inspired him to pursue dentistry.
One of his favorite parts of dentistry is the ability to give patients hope when they’ve lost all confidence. He loves the medical connection between the mouth and the rest of the body, and personalizes your treatment for optimal outcomes. Additionally, Dr. Ardelean treats everyone like family – you’ll never feel like just another number at Amber Dental.
In his free time, our dentist enjoys spending time with his wife Cori and son Sam. They like to go for bike rides, play volleyball, and visit northern Michigan and its beautiful nature. He and his wife also love to give back by doing a free medical and dental clinic every year for two weeks in eastern Europe.
Fun fact – Dr. Ardelean puts his heart and soul into everything he does. He takes pride in the gifts he’s been given and wants to honor those he serves, along with God who gave him these gifts.

Meet Your Dental Family
Dental Hygienist
Cori grew up in Romania and moved to the USA in 2007. She worked as a pharmacy technician for four years in her home country. However, she immediately fell in love with the dental field while working as Dr. Ardelean’s first assistant out of dental school after they got married.
The best part of her job is interacting with our patients (who quickly become part of our dental family) plus helping to prevent disease and improve oral health. Each of her patients receives focused attention, quality treatments, and thorough evaluations to promote comfortable and confident hygiene visits.
In her free time, Cori likes to spend time with Dr. Ardelean and their son. She also likes to travel, experience new cultures and foods, and relax on tropical beaches (her bucket list includes Bora Bora). Cori’s passionate about giving back to our community and participates in dental mission trips each summer.
Dental Assistant
Menia loves the different avenues she has through dentistry because she gets to do a little bit of everything. With over twenty years of experience, she knows how to help our patients feel comfortable by offering genuine care and developing relationships and trust.
She truly wants the best for those around her, including her patients and coworkers. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, Menia stays busy outside of the office with family. She enjoys being around loved ones and taking life day by day.
One of her favorite quotes is, “Live for today because you don’t know what tomorrow will bring.” A fun fact? She’s been married for over 30 years.
Dental Assistant
Danielle earned her associate’s degree from Washtenaw Community College and her registered dental assistant license from the state of Michigan. She’s been in the dental field since 2002 and enjoys helping patients feel more comfortable during their appointments. Danielle also loves to help with dental procedures, like placing dental implants and making dream smiles a reality.
In her free time, Danielle enjoys reading, watching movies, working out, relaxing, and spending time with her two sons and one daughter, and the rest of her family. They enjoy going to the zoo, visiting parks, and shopping. When time permits, she and her husband enjoy going on dates and seeing friends.
Dental Hygienist
Julie grew up in Clawson, MI and decided to pursue the dental field to help people understand how important their oral health is in relation to the rest of the body. Her favorite quote is, “The prettiest thing you can wear is a smile.”
The best part of her job is patients like you! Our dental hygienist loves getting to know patients because she learns just as much from them as they do from her. Julie always aims to create a fun experience for our visitors to ease dental fear or anxiety.
In her free time, you can find her spending time at her cabin on the Au Sable River, kayaking year round, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, and camping. But, really, it comes down to anything that involves nature.
Front Desk Administrator
She loves meeting new patients, getting to know them, and helping them understand what our Sterling Heights, MI dentist has to offer. Her friendly and caring personality creates a positive, welcoming atmosphere for all our visitors.
When she’s not at the practice, Cathy likes to spend time with her family and looks forward to the summer for boating. Her bucket list includes traveling and touring all of Italy, Greece, and France. A fun fact? She can speak multiple languages.
Patient Services
One of her favorite parts of the job is interacting with our patients, but she also loves working with our amazing team. Nicole goes out of her way to help our visitors with any issues or questions to ensure a smooth process.
Outside the office, she’s busy with her family and two children. They’re active in her son’s travel sports, including baseball and hockey. Some fun facts – Nicole’s bucket list includes visiting Greece, and she’s left-handed but plays all sports with her right.
